Don’t know why it has that name; probably something associated with Lorenzo’s accent that those of us unfamiliar don’t know about at all.

Naturally the thing on my mind is, “oh crud, Chazz, Alexis, and the other Light-heads we know are in major danger!” because he could do what he did to Lorenzo at the very end there to any of them! Even if, say, Jaden or one of the others manages to awaken them from their Lightheaded state, it could end up destroying them for good or something! My theory is that they get brainwashed and join the Society if they’re defeated by another Society member. But maybe some, like Lorenzo, joined for another reason, like they were offered the chance to join willingly and they took it. It seems to me like Lorenzo wasn’t an Academy student; no one who had just joined less than a day ago (though for all we know it’s been awhile)

Who cares if half the school’s joined a brainwashed cult and is going to attempt to brainwash and/or destroy the other half, but mess with the dorm’s paint job and you’ve got another thing coming!

We never did find out what Jaden was allergic to, did we? My guess was all the white paint, lol. Though his friends mentioned cologne; does Jaden smell unusual for some other reason considering that he was entirely clueless about the whole “date” thing? Is he coming down with something?

“Dueling’s not about blasting whatever gets in your way, it’s about carefully studying your opponent’s decisions. Yeah, and planning the right strategy!” But don’t worry—this time, nothing’s changed! It looks like Jaden’s finally struck the balance between strategy and spirit, and will be far more formidable for it! He didn’t realize it before, but coming up with the right strategies and executing them *were* what he calls fun! He was just concentrating on them overmuch and losing track of the fact that they were fun in past times when he overthought it, like, specifically, Grad Match.

We saw a lot more Elemental Heroes, the old crowd, today, though there still hasn’t been a Jaden duel without Neos since Jaden got his new deck. And we still haven’t seen Avion, who used to be something of a standard Jaden monster, and not much of Winged Kuriboh. I notice that Ground Mole makes four Neo-spacian elementals: Water (Aquos), Fire (Flick), Air (Hummingbird), and Ground (Mole). Will there be an electric Neo-spacian, or an equivalent of Wildheart, maybe?

“This duel isn’t over ‘til the last card’s played!” Jaden restated his own Jadenism, the same one we’ve been agonizing over in this corner- yet another instance it refers to to add to the list!

I love how Jaden didn’t mind at all that Lorenzo said that he’d seen tougher cannolis (cannolies?) than him, he was more upset that he mentioned cannolis when Jaden hadn’t eaten.

I noted Lorenzo’s first reaction to Neos, saying that he was really cool. I think that Neos and his fusions kinda have that duel-heart-awakening effect on people. Wonder what’ll happen when, say, Chazz, Lex, or Zane meets Neos in the arena?

I noticed, for the record, that Chazz is (not counting hair) about an inch shorter than Alexis.

The Fool again- remember, it means:
“ The Fool is the first card of the Tarot and is generally unnumbered, or numbered zero. The Fool is at the start of our journey and is the initiator. Seen by many as the innocent, he has an eagerness and freshness about him. He is young and carefree, entering the World without preconceptions.
The Fool trusts in life and expects his path to be a happy and rewarding one. There is faith in the gods to see him through and a complete absence of fear.
Sometimes the Fool is seen as too carefree - certainly a good dose of other people's more negative reality could damage him. However, for as long as the Fool has faith in his own purity and innocence, others will not be able to take advantage.
This is the child within. This is how we were before the many experiences of life forced us to build up so many walls. The Fool does not shade himself from the light - here we are born and from here we walk the path. It's time to jump off the cliff...”

“The Fool is a joyous and exciting card - combining both perfect trust and self reliance.
As the very first card in the Tarot deck, it marks the moment upon which we embark on a new phase in our spiritual journey.
When we explore new terrain, we are bound sometimes to encounter danger or challenge. The Fool’s energy gives us the power and self-confidence to move through challenges with an open heart, to recognise friends and to gather experiences to us as the true treasures that they are.
Innocence is a devalued quality these days. We forget that to approach life with eyes that are new each morning reveals to us more of life’s mystery than anything else. We cannot substitute the sheer growth permitted by trust and innocence with cynicism nor prior knowledge.
So, on a day ruled by the Fool, we need to lift our hearts upwards and open them to the richness and beauty of life. We need to regard ourselves as travelling through a land of wonderment and joy. We need to encourage excitement and exhilaration, and to look constantly for that which is new and bright and hopeful in every step we take.
We also need to trust to the life process, and to remember that, by and large, the gods have no need of our suffering, and every need of our joy, laughter and celebration.”

Upright: New beginnings, new adventures, new opportunities, unlimited possibilities, pleasure, passion, thoughtlessness, rashness
Reverse: A bad decision, indecision, apathy, hesitation, a faulty choice

Sartorius said that this card indicated that Jaden had an important role to play, one way or another; but will that role be for him or against? (against, of course! You’re goin’ DOWN!) Now, with the power of Neo-space, Jaden is wary but is also the ultimate Fool—what could be better? I found it a bit odd that Sartorius read the Fool as Chazz the first time around, because it’s such a Jaden card. Now, it *does* represent Jaden, and I think Sartorius’ reading it at this point signifies that the Fool is in power in the world, as it were, because Jaden’s goin’ stronger than ever. Sartorius knows that Jaden will come into it, and he’ll have his work cut out to make that role one for his team.

You’d think that Chazz and Alexis would know Jaden well enough by now to know that Lorenzo didn’t stand a chance in the first place. Maybe this Lightheadedness also affected their intelligence (hopefully not permanently)?

Duel Academy has its own planetarium? It’s a plot device, I suppose, deal with it. It has its own one-of-a-kind museum?! With stuff that could be on display anywhere else on Earth and people would pay to see it?

And speaking of the museum, when Alexis said there were the first duel disks on display, did she mean the duel frizbees of Duelist Kingdom (used in The Scars of Defeat, Face Off, and almost Champion vs. Creator)? I also noticed that one of the cards on display in that hallway was Yugi’s Turn Jump magic card, used only, that I know of, in his duel with Bakura in The Dark One Cometh I-IV. An artifact indeed. That electric-ish turtle looks so familiar, but I can’t identify it or the third card we saw. Does anyone else recognize them?

Jaden and the others still hadn’t caught on to the fact that Alexis has been brainwashed? It’s second nature to Jaden, the feel duelists develop for their opponents’ actions and motives, but off the arena, I think Jaden’s a tad clueless. I mean, what’ll it take? A guy who’s plainly friendly that he just dueled suddenly turning foe? Oh, wait- never mind, we’ll just have to wait until Monday to see if that did the trick.

The first one-episode wonder of the year (so much was left unfinished with Missy and Reggie, or something; for some reason I’m pretty sure we haven’t seen the last of Reggie. Missy we might’ve, but I dunno); add him to the ranks of Blair, Briar, Beauregard, the Admiral, Kaibaman, Jinzo, Tory and the former Obelisks-in-sheets-with-bath-candles-occult-summoning-club, Harrison Rosewood…

Three-time video game champ? I’m a video-gaming tenderfoot (I start games and I like them, but some people have the need to complete them that I don’t usually), and I’ve beaten at *least* three in my time! I could get a better title than that, as Joey once said, from a cereal box!

Apparently Bastion’s done his homework (of course Bastion’s done his homework; it’s like saying, ‘apparently Sartorius is the bad guy!’), and he said that Lorenzo is a pro. What did he mean? Is he another Pro League duelist? He’s not from Duel Academy, that much is plain, because he’s been a Lighthead for a while and no other students were in the Society before now except Chazz.

*Jaden!* It’s not chickening out to say, “Do I look like an idiot to you? What do I get if I win?” I can understand Jaden not really minding either way; he never passes up a chance to throw down, but even so. Perhaps it was because of Lorenzo? Like Jaden sensed some reason that he had to throw down with this guy because it would help (which it did, until Sartorius stepped in)?

Okay, Monday’s GX is Not Playing With a Full Deck. No, seriously, that’s the title. However, tomorrow/Sunday, I will be posting regarding the Capsule Monsters episode Eye of the Storm! ‘Til then! -Clio
