I noticed that Jaden really did seem angry at Slade and Jagger, the first time we’ve really seen him mad. And to think that it was on Chazz’s behalf.

I wonder if Crowler will be in contact with Slade and Jagger? He seems to have calmed down a bit towards Jaden, but he probably still wants him out.

Now we know that Jagger is the brother with the short hair, and Slade is the one with the longer hair (Slade called Jagger by name in this episode). However, we still don’t know which one has become supreme in Politics and which one in Business. If I had to guess, I’d say Slade was the former because he seems to be the more talkative to the public of the two, and Jagger the latter because once used a monetary expression to describe something having nothing to do with it. It’s not much to go on, but those are my guesses for now.

How interesting, so Jaden *can* see Ojama Yellow. I wonder why that is? That we know of, Chazz could never see Winged Kuriboh. Then again, he’s changed. Either way, this represents a powerful bond forming between Jaden and Chazz. I never said they’d be friends, but they’re linked. Though I may be called a heretic or whatever for saying so, I’m constantly reminded of Yugi and Kaiba.

I’m lost—why did Chazz decide to stay? What had he found there? Was it how Jaden stood up for him? Or how the entire Academy cheered him? Or just that he realized how much he had missed it despite whatever he said?

Why was Crowler so moved when Jaden said that Chazz used his own cards, not what his brothers’ money could buy? I mean, so was I, because I was worried that Chazz would give up what he had found, but why was Crowler so moved by that? He doesn’t seem the type to care for his cards, and in fact, now that I think of it, in one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard in the Yugiohverse, in The Next King of Games, he specifically puts such a connection down. I never fail to laugh, because he disses every duelist who cares deeply for his or her cards, all of the best and brightest, with that comment. However, Crowler is a deep believer in hard work, insisting with a passion that only the very utmost elite duelists come to Duel Academy, the very best students. So I could understand that he would admire Chazz’s not accepting any easy way out and striving with his own cards instead.

I agree with Jaden that dueling is about most importantly having fun, but I think he also will realize soon that there are other things worth dueling for that he forgot to mention, like his dueling here to help Chazz and show him what it’s all about. He duels to help people very often, and knows from experience (my favorite quotable Jaden) that the truth always comes out in a duel. Even if he has very little idea what the Heart of the Cards is (The King of Copycats, when I started screaming and babbling incoherently that Dimitri doesn’t know the first thing about the Heart; I still find it hilarious how strongly I reacted), all of the same beliefs are alive in him. I remain confident that when and if he learns what the Heart is, there’ll be an, “Oh, my gosh, that’s me!” moment.

So we found out about the seeming Foster-Sheppard-Dorothy triangle. I think that they really *are* old friends, I was mistaken.

I think that’s about it. Tomorrow’s episode will be Grave Risk I! For now, I have Spanish homework to do… -Clio
