Could you say, if you meet him, that it's sink or swim,
An if ever he'd show, now's a very good time,

Background:

The line that inspired this is from "Sad But Truesdale" in early GX Year 2, but this poem wasn't written until circa "Tough Love". It started out frantic, but ended up kind of plaintive; when you read it, you just have to slip into speaking like Syrus at his most nervous and distressed.
