Take Me Back To Domino

Oh, fly me away to Domino, it doesn't matter which:
"They're giant wristwatches...", "Careful who you call a witch."
Five Signers or the three cards of the King of Games's crown,
Oh, take me back to Domino, that duelist-living town.

Oh, take me back to Domino, that duelist-loving town,
Where it's less likely you'll get rained on than it is you'll almost drown
Oh, missing that grand skyline is a lonely, homesick itch;
So take me back to Domino, it doesn't matter which!

Oh, fly me away to Domino, it doesn't matter when.
As soon as class is over, when the world's about to end,
But make it soon, I beg you, world, if you have any pity,
O, take me back to Domino, that oft-embattled city.

Oh, take me back to Domino, straight off to Battle City,
"What you see as weakness...", and "Go save that little kitty!"
I think of courage, honor, heart, the will to win, and then
My heart replies that's Domino; it doesn't matter when.

Oh, fly me away to Domino, it doesn't matter where;
The Pier, Arcade, Facility, or old Clocktower Square,
Let's wander by the game shop and see our world begin;
O, take me back to Domino, where anyone can win.

O, take me back to Domino, where everyone can win;
From the tunnels of the Satellite, our newest champion.
A place where rules of gaming make each fight for power fair--
Anywhere in Domino, it doesn't matter where.

Oh fly me away to Domino, to every duelist's home;
Streets full of dueling pioneers, three breeds of Kaibadome,
Where having a good rival's as important as a friend,
Oh, take me back to Domino, the beginning and the end.

O, take me back to Domino, the beginning or the end,
Or somewhere inbetween'll do, like Fighting For a Friend,
The Academy is great, of course, but Crystal Beasts in Rome
Are just like me in Domino, for any duelist's home.

O, take me back to Domino, it doesn't matter how;
Jet or sewer pipeline, so long as we start now.
My heart pines oft for trap cards, for monster cards and spells,
The lights of that great city where heroic dueling dwells.

Fly off and alight in the city where dueling heroes dwell,
Where every evil person is just someone who fell,
My arteries all revel in duel madness (sick-a-pow!)
So take me back to Domino, it doesn't matter how.

Fly me away to Domino, New Domino or old,
Where sea breezes play also and it's hardly ever cold,
Japan or somewhere in the States, wherever duelists play,
Take me there tomorrow, yesterday, and still today.

The day's for duels tomorrow, yesterday, and still today,
The town in which the world could end any Saturday,
Thanks to darkest shadows or to relics shining gold,
The best duels are in Domino, New Domino or old.

Take me back to Domino, I'm down upon my knees!
4Kids, Funimation, Heart, take pity on me, please!
Oh, give me Signers, wielders, chosen warriors, hotheads, fiends,
Oh, take me where the mundane and the magical convene.

O Domino, where mundane things and magical convene,
In four years or a hundred, you will always be the scene.
Two-thirty-eight, one-fifty-six, plus sixty-four 5D's,
And still for one more Yu-Gi-Oh!, I'm down upon my knees.

Background:

When I get reruns, I pine. I wrote this, these really, during March and April 2009, and when we had reruns again September and October 2009. They're in pairs, but other than that, they can be said in any order, making this more of a chant or song with multiple interchangeable verses. I like all of the references and allusions. It actually is statistically less likely you'll get rained on than it is you'll almost drown in the YGO canon; we only see rain in Domino twice (Legendary Heroes and Steppin' Out), but Yugi and Joey (Journey to the Duelist Kingdom AND Friends 'Til the End IV), and Rally and Yusei (The Fortune Cup Finale I), make at least three instances of nearly drowning, six if you count each person.
