A Chant For Ra

O great protector of the sun’s warm glow,
I pray you may my reverence know
For bringing noonday's piercing light
Even to the dead of night,
For miracles in ray of gold
That save the lives of heroes bold,
For beauty and for majesty,
For might no one can truly see.
The day is ours, no fight, no game,
But still my heart must call thy name:
Winged Dragon of Ra!

Background:

Anyone who's bothered with the magical properties of the YGOverse has to concede that the events of GX's "Rah! Rah! Ra!", at the start of the Gx Tournament, are absurd and stretch even our generous bounds of credulity. I noted at the time that Franz summoned Ra with even less reverence or flair than Marik, and wondered how flexible the chant is that his, Marik's, and Atem's in the Final Duel all work, and I made up my own chant, in the same format.
